Problem with passanger side seat

The seat folds down and forward but the seat does not scoot up or down. Like it won't go forward or backward.

Any idea on what's going on?

Thanks

Check to make sure there are no objects or obstructions in the tracks...also, is this a power passenger seat or manual one?

Yeah--check the track, and then check to see if the lever is actually disengaging the lock on the track. You probably have something stuck in the track-

Rhythmic undulations have meesed up the seat.

Check the tracks.
