Yeah, I wish they did the font like the SE's. The idle is either high because the cold start or he hasn't adjusted the needles yet. I assume he had to remove the needles to insert the gauges. In my Neon I installed the white face gauges and you had to remove the needles and use tape to mark where they were when you removed them. Could be that?
Besides all that, Looks Good!

REverse indiglo's
Unfortunately, they don't have the reverse indiglos...yet...This was just a temporary solution to my ugly GXE gauges until the reverse ones come out. I REALLY wanted the SE gauges, but for all the new SEgauges from the dealership, it is in upwards of $700, and that is a low quote. The dealers won't just sell the actual SE gauge faces, you have to buy the whole new gauge, which is expensive. The Fuel gauge isn't off...they just have a strange hue around them from the indiglo.
I completely agree with you guys though...The warning lights make the whole set up look too busy...After driving around last night, I am going to go back and remove these in the coming week.
Also, My tach is off due to a past experiment. You do not need to take the needles off to do this install, and from my experience, I will never take another needle off of a car.

Another addition
Also, me and my friends got bored after the install was done, so we took it all apart again, went down to pep boys, got some nissan paint...I think it is grey luster or something really similar, and spray painted the gauge bezel....This is something I should have done a long time ago! It looks absolutely amazing, and the color almost matches the trim of the stereo (Just barely off and you really have to look to notice the difference). If you guys want to do a cheap ($3.49 for a can of spray paint), amazing looking mod and have an hour or two free, I would do this. I'll get some pics up when I redo the gauges.
