California 2002 Max SE 6 speed semi-part out.

This car is in Long Beach, California. (Holy smokes, there's two of us here.)

189,000 miles. Black with grey interior.

My car is going to the junkyard next month as part of a program to remove smoggy cars from the road. It has to be able to drive to the yard, but I can remove unnecessary parts.

That said, just about anything not necessary to driving it is fair game. The car is kind of beat up, but there are things to be harvested from the interior.

***UPDATE***
This car is going to the junkyard on MONDAY January 17. I plan to have it towed, so all parts are fair game, however, if you want something major like the transmission or engine, we will have to make arrangements to have it removed. Send me a PM here with your phone number and what you want.

I did replace the center console lid bracket within the last year, so I will take 15 bucks for that +5 for shipping- $20 total.

Just ask about anything else.

To keep it easy, I will take payment by PayPal for shipments, but you may also send me a check for smaller dollar amounts or a money order. Cash in person is always excepted.

Small items will be sent in a padded envelope or small box at USPS first class rates unless you want it sooner.

Also, I will be out of town from Monday, December 21 until Wednesday, January 6, but I will get stuff out the mail before then.

You can get a grand to $1500 through a state retirement program, but the program I'm in, ReplaceYourRide.com requires it go to the yard for nothing, but you get $ to buy a newer car before that.

The headlights are cloudy but I replaced the bulbs with OEMs about 4 years ago. I'll let those go for $15 each plus shipping. The bulbs, i mean.

I'd say yes but the passenger rims are a bit ground up from hitting curbs plus the rear is warped / out of shape. It shimmys when put on front.

The front tires (Firestones) are only a few months old but the rears are done.

The leather on the steering wheel is shot.

I can get you more info / pice when I get home on the 6th.

I think your leather seats are better than mine. How much to swap both front and back? I'm in CA also. San Fernando Valley. Thanks.

The back seat beach is in great shape except for one or two "mash marks" from putting large tv's and such in the back. No tears or holes or stains though.

The passenger seat is in great shape but the leather seat area does have a little wear. Again, no tears / holes / stains. The electronics work just fine.

The driver seat has the most wear, but still in decent shape. There is what looks like a cigarette hole behind the driver's back. No tears. Needs cleaning. The electronics work except the seat front (under the knees) no longer tips up.

In a few days I'll be putting up prices in the ad. You got first dibs on the seats though. I'll get back to you then. Also, just a reminder, I am out of town until Jan 6.

Regards,
Keith

Two of them were replaced with universals so, $15 each for the OEMs and $15 for both universals.

I still need to be able to drive the car to the junk yard or otherwise deliver it before I can pull 'em out. Gotta figure that out...

I get back on the 6th. Let you know after that.

I pulled the shifter trim. Will post a photo in a moment. I pick up my new car tomorrow morning. I find out then how soon I need to surrender this max and if I will be able to pull more out. It has to go to a yard and be crushed as part of the program that helped me buy a new car. Let you know difinitively tomorrow
If I can get you the pedals.

It no longer works but I'll sell it cheap. PM me with an offer if you still want it and I'll work out the shipping. Please be patient for my response as I work long night shifts and sleep during the day.

I have to get the car to a yard by Thursday. Going to try to pull the tranny by then but should be able to get the pedals for you regardless.

Yes, the headlights are still available. I managed to get the deadline pushed back to Monay, so come on by this weekend. There is a possibility I may have to work Saturday, however. I should know by the end of tomorrow.
