3 inch intake options ;)

Alright, this is to update the older post. [B]THIS REPLACES THE NEED FOR A CONNECTOR PIPE, BBMAF, M
As it stands we have seen pretty good success with multiple platforms with the larger bore maf and the intergrated setups that Myself and Lucky have introduced. The normal gain is usually 15WHP for those that utilize a wideband and afc.
IN light of the requirement for these two items, alot of customers have asked for one off designs... wellllllllll.....as always weve worked to go ahead and offer something for those that want a BOLT ON AND GO OPTION. As always Im big on aesthetics and performance so minor tweaks are made from time to time. With that we offer multiple options

3 inch intakes in aluminum or steel in 2 different styles (SRI, and a Proper cool air design that places the filter behind the headlight, correcting the injen issue with placement behind the radiator).
Cooler Air- Powdercoated, shipped, tapped and drilled with 2 allen head screws $125 DEK VERSION $135

SRI- Aluminum SRI with CNC'd maf block-$130 DEK Version $140

Both designs work without the need of any tuning device and will give a noticeable bump in performance. Why bother restricting your airflow with a smaller maf housing, when the whole point is a more expedient means of getting all the air possible into your motor?

Install pics should be put up at this point right?

for more check out the instagram link

Performance wise these will provide a decent bump over stock. In addition they will provide the cleanest transition for any intake currently offered when it comes to airflow. THe single pipe has zero internal restrictions to cause turbulence and doesnt neck down and open back up creating a bottleneck at the entry of your intake system as a bolt on maf adapter, maf housing, pipe, etc, can do.

I have conducted countless dynos to try and get the best setup for these and I believe we have found it. As stated these intakes come powdercoated, shipped, and predrilled and tapped with 2 allen head set screws to secure your STOCK MAF into the INTAKE. No need to purchase an adapter to bolt to your stock piece. Your MAF bolts Right in.

With the differing options there is always going to be someone that wants something done a little bit different so Ill provide my contact information here, and we can freely discuss any questions you have, tuning ideas, or the like if you would like to look at going with a 3.5 inch intake or a 4 inch intake after tuning. Repeat business means discounts. SSIM Services also available...And i do a pretty good job i like to think....Cores available for that service as well...but thats another post.

Steel SRI intakes- Powdercoated, shipped, tapped with allen head screws-$110 for the DEK these are available for $120- Group buy can be set up to get these further reduced. Starting at 5 interested parties

3.5 inch
4 inch

Would there be an advantage to go larger (Say either 3.5/4") with this design? If so, how much for those sizes?

As always quality work done by Mr sands! I ran one of these 4" intakes on my car and the gains were outrageous. Any 3.5"-4" intakes NEED a tune, the car will NOT run proper without a wideband and a device to make air fuel adjustments for the car to run correct. This 3" intake option is awesome for those who want some gains without the headache of tuning or corrections. Excellent work and color selections too!!!!

YES 100% doug post up the video of the two maximas running head to head with 3.5 inch vs 4 inch intake with lesser mods. Telling you dude, if you arent too far to MD take the drive. i went down from nyc for a weekend, best weekend ever. made another trip three weekends ago, 4" for a 3.5 motor is 110% worth it, trust me. combine it with a nwp tb, and 3" exhaust? good god... lol

Ohh yeah Intend to run UTEC. I can afford the UTEC but the P&P harness is double the price I can get a UTEC for, but it will simplify my life.

But if the 4" takes advantage then I would rather get that in this version than the SRI. Thats all I was thinking.

The 4 inch while it requires additional tuning is the biggest bang for your buck. Seriously, we see usually at least 15hp with them. Manny picked up 13hp but 14lbs of tq. An altima SE-r just picked up 20whp.

As well if you go with 440 injectors, i can provide you a good base tune for the utec to get you going

I'll probably be getting one soon....I was looking at upgrading to a possible 5.7 swap after I find a wrecked 2013 or 2014 Maxima! The 3" would work now but if I have a 3" exhaust a 3.5" or 4" would actually be better past 5500 rpm, but I noticed the lower rpms lost some whp/Tq! Do you have a dynosheet for the 3"?

It would be cool if u also added a air duct like the OEM one to bring in cold air and heat shield for the intake...

no need for that foolishness. if it aint broken why fix it? the intakes already dyno proven show to make crazy power. IF you have the manifold spacers then you shouldnt worry to much about heat in the engine bay
