-Pull out power rod (theres a chance you have clearance issues with the ac line being right there but nothing difficult)

-Put everything back together and enjoy.

I can snap pics for you if you like.
mine wasn't so easy; had screws instead of bolts and they were no fun, plus the supercharger plate was a challenge; should have taken the UIM off. one thing, what is this cup that holds the rod? hope I didnt loose it...

Its a little, metal cup that fits over the end of the powerrod. The cup should be attached to the vias box and turn when the actulator arm moves.

Fyi I would suggest just taking the uim either off or really lose and use vise grips on the screws

thanks, my cup is attached and I got the spring. Did break out the vise grips and a few other adapters, but got it done! Just waiting on plate now.

Cant wait to see if my trap speed goes up!

Got my blockoff plate and was hoping to install this weekend, but it's already 90 degrees outside and highs this weekend are going to be 95+, so I'll wait until next weekend to get it installed

Despite the heat I went outside when cloud cover rolled in and the screws on the VIAS and also the 2 screws on the metal cup on the passenger side won't budge... at all

I'm installing the block off plate this am, does anyone have had code since the removal of the 2 switch ? I'm thinking of leaving the switch plugged in so no code will show up. Also I see it was suggest to put RTV, is this silicon ? Sorry but my french brain doesn't have a clue of what is RTV. Lol

Edit: I went to the local store and got the RTV Gasket.

I was against this at first since I'm auto and was told I'd lose low end but I don't believe that and I know my VIAS is fuked my car has 190k and I'm not dealing with fixing it and having to worry about it going bad again!

As with 95% of breathing mods, it will move the power to the right....low end will take a hit but the top end you gain from it....whooo...pulls up top earlier

Is the car MT or AT? If AT you might want to keep as much low end as possible, since the AT is a bit sluggish on takeoff.

I suggest before you buy it to pull the power rod drive the car around and see how you like it
