Alright, well, even with my Max on its way to being sold (I hate you, economy), I am still going to be hanging out in my old stomping grounds and will be performing headlight mods on the side. SO, what I am starting is a headlight exchange program.
WHAT IS IT & HOW DOES IT WORK?
This will be a program in which you provide me with a core charge fee + 25% of the modification cost up front and shipping fees. I will ship you a set of stock headlights along with two pre-paid shipping labels. You will send me your headlights and I will perform the mod. Turn around time will be 2 full days after receipt, with a 1% penalty to be paid BY ME for each late day. I will then ship you YOUR headlights back. Finally, ship me the originals in return and receive your core charge back.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
Bake Open - $100
Blackout or Color Match - $50 (5th Gen) $100 (5.5 Gen)
Audi LED Strip - $100
Clear Corner - $50
Angle Eye Install - $100 (you provide the eyes)
Brasso Polish on Lenses - $40
FINAL NOTE: Live in NJ/PA? Come on down to my house, we can knock it out in a few hours!!! [/color]

i dont understand that either...its 100 to bake open...but and 50 for the clear corner...so totalits 150? because you obviously have to bake the light open in order to get the amber out....

Clean-Up is $40 both inside and out. Clear corner now free.
I have many people claiming interest, but only one guy as a sure-fire taker...let's get this moving so you can get your headlights and I can feed my instiable addiction to modding!
How much would it cost to get my headlights cleaned, blacked out, and an audi led strip installed? This is going to be about a month away as I am finishing up some other things on my car before winter hits.
i feel like you answered my prayers...i have always been to chicken to do that...pm me i want to know how much it would be to clean inside and out (even though its not so bad outside) and taking the amber out....please i want total and am very interested...

i just called the number provided through the link. tap plastics inc. doesnt have these clear lenses in stock. it would have to be something special ordered through malibu. Home depot carries a few of the Malibu light fixtures but it’s an entire fixture and not just the lenses. The lenses would have to be dremmeled out to fit the maxima headlights.
home depot link I am not sure if these are glass or plastic. If anyone can verify where to buy these from, please chime in.
Great idea! The only thing is, it would be cool if prices were lower if people were coming to meet you at your house. No need for the shipping either way or temporary lights.

Yes, but I have to work thrice as fast and perform all removal and installation.
that looks great man, any pics of a 2K2 headlight set done, i've seen the Audi strip on an Altima, man thats a good look. i would like this setup on my 2002, iet me know.
BTW great work, and nice price. when i get mine done i'll simply send out my lights to you, since its still reasonably nice weather in cali, so i can continue to ride my Ninja.

You mean done, sealed, and installed? If so, I should have some soon. The guy I did those for wanted to use the 3M kit to polish everything up before he posted pics...the work was not finished until about 20:00, so it was obviously too dark to take pics. :crap:
