Axle nut size

Does anyone know the size of the axle nut on top of their minds? I need to rent the socket, just want to know the size instead of getting the wrong size.

IIRC it's a 32mm. I know I have one and 32mm is the largest size I have in my toolchest, and there's no other reason I'd have it except for the axle nut.

Why are you renting it? Just go to Sears and buy one for a couple bucks

I have "embarked" on replacing my LBJs' and Autozone has a set starting from 30mm to 36mm. I wanted to get the right one before starting, I have the BJ press etc.

you can buy them individually at Sears, since the only one in that set you should ever need is the 32mm, and possibly the 30mm.

LOL...I'd rather find 8 of something than 0 (which is usually what happens in my garage)

I told raxles about that problem - shipping a different size axle nut. I think they shipped a 34 because the 36 I use on my 96 max didn't fit either. So, the first time, I used the old nut. The second time, they shipped the same size nut.
