Hi,

Just got back from the dealer after replacing the battery (under pro-rated warranty) on my 99 GLE. I originally had a heavy duty battery and I had a suspicion that the dealer gave me the wrong battery. Called up Courtesy Nissan and asked for the part numbers and price. The heavyduty P/N is 999M1-NB24F and the normal one is 999M1-NB35C. They both cost the same at about $70 (MSRP). You may get a discount on top of it.

What kind of battery do you have? Can you confirm any of these part numbers?

Issac

I don't have the part numbers on hand for the factory battery, but Matt from the 3rd gen site suggested an Interstate battery (MT-34R). Its installed and everything is cool.

Actually I checked again and it is not that model number. The shop where I got the battery did not have that model Interstate battery. I am trying to find the number now.
