Retrieve any stored DTC via a code reader or with a flat bladed screw driver at the ECM and report back. From the hip I would suggest looking at the MAF and the electrical connector at the MAF. Both have well documented histories of failures that can have a "stalling" symptom associated with their failures. But this is just a guess.

I had this happen to me recently. I cleaned the MAF and TB and it helped but I had to replace the MAF with one I bought from a junkyard and it's been good since.

Is the check engine light on?

if so, please tell us which code you have.

Stalling at idle is often related to a vacuum leak.

But other possibilities are a dirty throttle plate which needs cleaning. The intake air control valve controls aor flow at idle. It might need cleaning.

Again, let us know which code you have.

Any OBDII scanner will work.
Here are two popular choices
https://www.amazon.com/BAFX-Products-Wireless-Bluetooth-Diagnostic/dp/B005NLQAHS/ref=sr_1_4?crid=1ZAW7F1R35XI9&keywords=obdii+scan+tool&qid=1581187602&rnid=2941120011&s=automotive&sprefix=obdii+scan%2Caps%2C211&sr=1-4 https://www.amazon.com/BAFX-Products-Wireless-Bluetooth-Diagnostic/dp/B005NLQAHS/ref=sr_1_4?crid=1ZAW7F1R35XI9&keywords=obdii+scan+tool&qid=1581187602&rnid=2941120011&s=automotive&sprefix=obdii+scan%2Caps%2C211&sr=1-4

JvG beat me to it. I'd say check for vacuum leaks first. Then investigate/replace MAF with OEM junkyard MAF.

The obd-2 scanner port is somewhere on the passenger side. It's near the glove compartment as I recall.

Some mechanics will claim a 95 won't have one.
But it definitely does.
