M35 wheels installed with 245/40r18

Got some new wheels. They are 18x8 50mm offset, made by Enkei, for Infiniti. They weigh >22 lbs. Not quite my style, but they were cheap.

Tires are Sumitomo HTR A/S P02, again 245/40r18.

This combination weighs 2 lbs more than 5.5 gen SE with Continental Extreme Contact DWS 235/45r17.

I have 20mm spacers on the rear.

My car is lowered on Eibach springs with Koni Sport struts. Rears are set to the higher setting. Please forgive my driveway for making the car sit uneven.

Front brakes are 6th gen.

I really need to get my Stillen body kit installed now.

18s? You Dirty Dawg! LOL

But at least they're legal. All four of them. And take you for LONG rides! With a BIG smile.

I like them. They really stand out when far enough to appreciate the whole look! That Titanium color really compliments the Sterling Mist.

Hope you went as far as Road Force Balancing them too.

And just so you know, I also really like the G37X wheels too.

In fact, I'm considering buying a 2013 G37X with low miles for a reliable daily driver. A FUN daily driver. Under $15K out the door, Certified at Infinity Dealers.

I'm not sure if they use road force. I think so.

We've looked at G's. The G sedans are a bit cramped inside. It seems smaller than the Altima we had before. I had my mind set on a G37xS but we waited, had a kid, got a JX35 instead. It's far more practical.

I’ve always been most attracted to switching out OE items with OE items, but I think those Enkeis look quite tasteful and not too blingy.

I like OE wheels too. I mainly searched for a nice set of Nissan or Infiniti wheels. I wanted 18's, without staggered widths or offsets, an offset around 35-40mm, low weight and cost was also a factor. I got pretty close.

I think these are blingy, if not ostentatious. Then again most people who put wheels on their car are going for that in some way. At least these are not stupid heavy like some wheels I looked at.

I think I have only had one set of aftermarket wheels, Enkei RP02. If I had to buy aftermarket wheels, Motegi Traklite would be my first choice.

I still have both. The G35x wheels were on my Altima which got totaled last year. They look OK and they have way more room for calipers than the 5.5 gen wheels. Too bad these need to be refinished and I just didn't want to take the time to do it. Hopefully I'll have both sets sold soon.

That color is so hard to pull off, but wheels look great and think the Stillen kit will make it look more appealing.

It's not my favorite, I almost skipped over this car because of the color. Then, here I am making it more monochromatic by clearing the turn signals. The only thing that pops is the red taillights. My truck is silver too and I dared to paint the calipers red. I'm boring.

Sterling mist is a great color. The 5.5 gen SE wheels compliment the 4th gen well.

That's because 5.5 gen SE wheels are the best OEM Maxima design they made.

The front rubbed on the inside at full lock. I put the 20mm spacers on the front since I had them. I put 35mm spacers on the rear to match. I think it's going to rub the fender now if I go over a big dip. I took it for a ride, no issues yet. We'll see.

I didn't have any issues with just me, but with the family the rear tires rubbed the fender. I could roll them, until then I put the 20mm spacers back on the rear.

They are bolt on. I wasn't concerned about the bearings. I have used 20mm on the rear for years. I can't imagine it being any different from a wheel that was the same equivalent offset.

Would love it if the wheels spokes were gunmetal with the lips polished out and some "AE" style headlights

Like this? This is one of my favs.

I have extra lights I could paint. Darker wheels would look better. Polished isn't really my thing.

I believe those are the Enkei J10's... Same ones I have on mine.

But I love the way those 18's look with the Gen 6 calipers. Makes the whole thing pop.

I love the look of both of them..... And I love the size of the rims you have now. I would love to have the best of both worlds and buy a set of these in 18". Unfortunately, my price range at the time could only afford me the 16".
With the low profile, 50 series tires though, the Enkei rim looks awesome in any diameter!!

By the way...How hard was it to change out your calipers??

It's pretty straight forward. Enlarge the 2 steering knuckle holes to 9/16" or 14mm and bend or cut the dust shields to clear the larger rotor.
