If it is a U-shaped hose, it's the transmission breather.

Maybe it's finally time to create a sticky that reads: " Have a curved hose that goes nowhere? ***READ THIS*** "

We need more detailed information to help you. "What's wrong with my car?" Means nothing to the Internet based DIY mechanic.

Sorry been busy but the MAF air cleaner is located right behind batteryon driver side the MAP is located by the front end of engine by the hood sensor three is a hose coming from the bottom of the car that is located in between the engine, battery, MAP, And MAF. I was looking at pictures and it looks like my air cleaner body housing is supposed to have two hoses coming out and only has one larger vacuum hose coming out of the side and no other post can this be the problem? The code I have is p0105. I actually downloaded this really great emissions control book that tells me DTC codes translates them into nissan codes and tells you how to test each code and the steps u should take to replace them. But anyways back on Topix is there supposed to be more them one vacuum hose coming out the MAF?

If, based on the responses you've already gotten, you're still not convinced it's the trans breather hose, you'd better post a photo.

Or better yet, search "breather". There's about 62 photos of the thing on this very forum.

OP, I think it would be best if you posted a picture of what you're talking about, otherwise this thread isn't benefiting anyone.

I agree if you got the pic that will be an exact pin point of the problem. Look if you see there is anything in these pics posted in this thread. No pics we are just guessing.
