Finally switched up my wheels
well I finally got some wheels ive been trying to find forever, and I finally got them! picked them up pretty cheap too! Now i just need to figure out a color option, as Im unsure about the matching color.
before SSR competition 17's
After Altima SE-R 18's
What does everyone think, keep the color? change it? if so, what color?

Well if I did change the color it would be either a charcoal color or maybe a polished or a silver color, I dont want it to be flashy, so it wont be like neon green or anything, not my style. But thanks for your input!

Looks great, but I've always been a sucker for charcoal wheels. Or dark bronze for that matter. Maybe not on those, but the charcoal would look and at the same time, it looks awesome as is too. Nice choice.

IMO those wheels blend in great with the body!
I painted my 98 MAX black last year. It was deep evergreen before that so I'm changing the wheels from silver to gunmetal. I picked up a pint yesterday and will be painting them tomorrow when it gets warm and dry outside.

It looks like you're running lowering springs.
What size tires are you running? Did you need to use any spacers or other changes for clearance?
I've got some H&R springs in the box ready to be put on Max#2 with some 18" wheels from a 2007 Maxima.
I think the look you've got going with those Altima SE-R wheels definitely pops.

I really enjoy looking at your car and the new wheels. Dude - you've got a classy looking show car in the making.

I didnt need spacers at all, and they don't rub a bit. I was very surprised they didnt. I'll get some close side angle pics later today show you how they look from the side. What offset is the maxima wheels?

The tire size is 225 45 18, but they are about shot and when they are gone im going to put 245 40's on them. My mother has an se-r and I put those on to get a bit more tire in the road and I like it much better.

I'm seeing a little rub against the inner wheel well when making a hard sharp turn. I wonder if I need some spacers.

Thanks NSMO - I agree on the 40 series. I think the SE-R wheels are a +45 MM offset. I guess I will need 5mm spacers to eliminate the slight rub problem.

well, as my luck would have it, one of these rims turned out to be bent, was a little upset at first, but found another set with a bent rim for $200 bucks, I couldnt pass up the deal, but when I picked them up I found that 2 of his 4 were actually bent, so now I have a full set of straight wheels and 3 bent, 2 are bad enough to cause a vibration and the 3rd is very minimal and still holds air, and 1 straight, gonna get the other repaired and may be selling them. If i do get the others repaired the finish will definitely be done also.
