Opinions on lowering springs
Hey guys finally managed to replace all suspension components and bushings so i can lower the max, im not looking for nor do i have the money for coilovers so i want to go with just lowering springs.... Im not looking for performance just for a better stance with less wheel gap.. First off i have 18" g35 wheels with 245/45/18 tires will i have an issue with rubbing or the wheel fitting with a 1.5-2" drop? And what is a good shock to use and what is a good lowering spring to use and opinions help

Hi have Tokico Blues on the I30 and the Q45 with stock springs. No complaints since 2010 for a firm responsive ride.
The Max has KYB adjustables with all new bushings and related components. So far so good after 6-8 months. You can definitely change the ride between the track and streets. Since I'm on a budget, I have a new set of K Sport springs to be installed. So I will need to see how it goes.
We'll be running the same size 18" tires on recent Maxima wheels. The plan is to use the Max for some AutoX weekend fun. Though I know how it goes at Club Miata/Genesis AutoX events (read SCCA), so we won't be disappointed as long as we can keep it on the track. :-)
