Does anyone have a picture of wich face of the pulley have to go out? I think my car's pulley might be wrongly installed. . I think it might be the pulley turned around by mistake. . My car is a 1999 nissan maxima. Please help.

The larger dust cover faces away from the motor. The smaller faces the idler bracket/toward the motor.

The contours in the pulley face makes deciding which direction the pulley itself gets installed very much a no-brainer as the dust covers can only be installed where they fit ... big one outside, small one inside.
