'99 GLE - timing chain or belt?
Quick question. Does my '99 GLE have a timing chain or a belt?

It has a timing chain. All 1995-1999, 4th gen models have the vq30de engine and it has a timing chain.

yeah, it's a chain with 2 more smaller cam chains as well. alot of op don't replace them, but i'm told it's better to do them while it's apart.
