aftermarket alarm won't fully lock doors

I've had this alarm installed for over 2 years. Just recently I noticed my Driver side rear door was not fully locking. I pulled the door and it didn't open all the way, but it did try to.. if that makes sense. The alarm was armed at this point.

I hopped in the car and hit the arm button. Watched my door lock arms all lock, but it looks like the one I'm speaking of was only half way locked. If I use the manual switch on the drivers door it works fine..

Anybody had this or heard of this issue? Or think I need to replace/fix something?

Probably the lock actuator isn't as strong as before...so it's not locking all the way...or if it works from the matter window switch, it could be the alarm controller itself sending pulses that aren't as strong or something...?

I've had a similar issue, but only when I unlocked the doors from my aftermarket remote while someone was opening it, it would lead to the lock jamming up half way, so I go in the car and unlock it by hand.

Yeah I was reading about some double pulse deal our cars have. But I thought it was more for unlocking, mine unlock fine. Just that back one.

Not a HUGE deal, the alarm goes off as soon as you open the door so.. But I like it all to work you know.

Next thing I'll do is take the panel off, maybe the rod needs greased or actuator replaced.
