So my car has been shaking pretty rough for a while. It shakes a lot less on park but still there and especially noticable during the first few seconds of acceleration. The car has been driving slower as of late I've noticed. Usually I could accelerate to 60 quite easily and as of late it feels like it struggles.

The check engine light has come on but goes away when I turn the car off and then back on. Mechanic can't do anything unless they see the light and unfortunately the light only likes to come on at like 2 AM on a Sunday or something like that.

Also not sure if related but my left high beam doesn't work. I'm guessing the bulb died? What's the range on a head lamp replacement? I'm a 20 year old college student living in NYC so all these problems are really making my wallet hurt lol.

first off, id have to say just change the headlight bulb..very easy and cheap(under 10 bux)...second whenever the cel comes on just use the diag screw on the ecu that is behind the plastic cover to the right of the gas pedal all you need is a small screw driver and the ability to count the cel blinks....if you search youtube, there are vids on how to do both!!
