The guy at nissan dealer said that someone by pass the power stearing cooling system. I did not know that we have that but is it important or i can drive without the power stearing system?

The power steering and cooling systems are two completely different systems.

Yea i know he said that the fluid of power stearing go through the cooling system or some like that first time i heard that thing

NO.

The Trans fluid (if auto) goes through the radiator to help cool it, not the power steering fluid.

I believe he's referring to the OEM power steering cooler. IIRC, only 95-98 Maximas have it. Since the 99's don't have it, I bet Nissan determined it wasn't necessary (or a cost cutting measure) so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

And Niismo, the correct spelling is "steering" not "stearing" LOL

Ive heard some came from the factory with all the plumbing, but a bypass hose is used in place of the "cooler".

I dont see the rubber loop sorry but thanks for the pic now i see where is the rubber hoses for the washer that i need to change

i was wondering about that also. for some reason previous owner looped it back.

My 98 had the small rubber loop like the 99.

My 97 and 2000 both have the metal loop in front of the a/c condenser coil.

man nissan does some strange stuff!...like putting the sensor and the right display for the Ambient temp. but no button to use it!

there's the pic from the by-pass you see where my car miss 2 pipe

In the middle of the picture you see a pipe with 2 kind of clip and on the right you see 2 pipe that are not connected

My 99 I30 has the cooler installed and is not bypassed. Could just be another one of those Infiniti quirks.
