so, i was thinking about doing a performance mod

but which one? i'm doing my belts and thought i'd do a lightweight crankshaft pully or flywheel but don't really know enough about this engine to know what would make more sense performance wise? any engine guru's please chime in, i'd love to help my 245,000 maxy run a little better, where to buy pulley or lightweight parts, best name and price for said parts? thanks

Edit: Do automatics even have a flywheel?

I believe autos have a flexplate.
UDP is doable~the install instructions I skimmed said that on an auto it is more difficult to install; but since you probably won't be the one installing it, who cares? Lol

I have the Unorthodox pulley but its stock diameter. I would've went with under drive but I got a steal on it at $36 haha. I felt a difference although minimal. I'd go under drive if you can afford it.

if you wanna do a good performance mod, buy a gsx-r and leave the car alone..

and auto's use a flexplate - flywheel is for manual.. a flexplate is already much lighter than a flywheel

also - if you want to invest some money - IMO the best place to start is with your fliters. a good oil filter that captures particles just a few microns smaller than standard filters cause reduce any further angine wear by up to 50%..

ive had alot of mods on the other max i had - and personally the only thing i can say was worth doing was the y-pipe.. even the intake is a waste of money if you ask me.
