tein s-tech's with the lotek shock and struts off ebay. i love the ride i might say for 168$ spent on the budget stuff..not too shabby, they look like gr-2 knockoffs. and honestly a old member 95custommaxima used to live down the street from me and had the tein/gr2 setup. i swear mine feels the same. now to see what their doing 10k miles from now is a different situation.

however, after doing axles and valvoline 80w90 gl-4 rated gear lube, i geta wierd hum under load around 3500rpm, not a wheel bearing seeing as i inspected for play and nothing. so idk if the axles are wrong but its strange.

axles were purchased from oreilly, and are item number...

60-6144 and 60-6145.

anybody know if these were wrong? or if new axles in these cars make funny noises? ( dumb but..) they slid into the trans no problems and fit in the hub nicely. they both look/seem to be completely in, seeing as the carrier lined up no problems, and the drivers side was a good click. any thoughts??

wasnt makin that noise before all was said and done.

Do you have to replace the axles when you put lowering springs on? What wheel are you running? Any offset?

get 25 mm spacers for the rear so it sits flush, and a little more aggressive stance.
