When i accelerate, my max wont go pass 40km.. it has 230k on it.
Car idles low too.
Been searching and the only possible reason i can find is a bad maf sensor?
Are there any more suggestions on what the problem is? There is a check engine light but its a P0446.

Sounds to me like the car is in limp mode. What year is it? I think that code translates to a leak in the evap system. Idle issues is usually the IACV but seeing as how you are not going over a certain speed, that doesn't seem likely.

can you rev the car in neutral through the entire rpm range? i had a faulty maf and i coudlnt do over 50ish and my rpms would not exceed 3000. when i would start it it would stall pulling up to a red light until it was warm.

so i fixed the issue, egr connections wasnt properly connected... as if i missed that. Now the car is idles fine, and doesn't stall! BUT it still wont pass 40km, i contacted the old owner, and she said it had a tranny rebuilt from her mechanic a year ago...

Yeah do the KS and MAF and then get the codes cleared. Make SURE there's no other codes too. Make sure you go with OEM parts. Sometimes used is better than auto zone... as far as te MAF goes, at least.

Im leaning towards a bad maf also. I remember I accidentally left mine unplugged and drove the car and i could not go past 40mph check engine light came on, and I pulled over, and said wow forgot to plug this thing bak in lol!
