97 Max SE with electrical issues

I think an evil spirit has taken over my ride. Recently my car has been locking the doors by itself when I hit a bump or close the drivers door.

I usually leave the keys in the car when I park in my garage. If the doors lock and I don't catch it, the next time I start the car the factory alarm goes off.

If I remove the keys from the ignition, close the door and the doors lock, the next time I open the drivers door the factory alarm goes off.

I never lock my car when its in my garage. If I hit the unlock button with the remote though before I open the door, I never have a problem with the alarm but I usually leave my keys in the center console if I take the keys out so I set off the alarm quite often.

The most annoying thing about this is it usually happens at 7am when I leave for work and I'm sure my neighbors want to choke me when that happens.

So, I know that was long winded but my question is, could this be an electrical short in the door or perhaps the door lock switch is going bad? I have no idea where to begin with this one.
