RPM's Fluctuating (Vid Inside)
Recently my tachometer started to have these issues with the RPM's jumping all over the place. Sometimes it will be at about the correct RPM's, but most of the time the needle jumps around. I've read that the best solution would be to replace the whole gauge cluster, but is there a simpler solution? I've heard that you can resolder some of the terminals to make it right again, any suggestions?

That's why it should be an alpine it might be shorting your harness , actually check your wiring it looks like its running with your radio which leads me to believe that your amp or radio or wiring is not grounded right or you tapped into your instrument cluster hooking up the radio. Try that first unhook the radio and run the car see what happens.
