I have no clue.....

I have this vibrating problem that its driving me insane. I have a 96 max w/ a 2000 motor. They had done the swap already before I bought the car. THe car had no problem once I bought it. A yr later it started to give me this vibration problem when I accelerate, hitting the pedal to the metal, or just cruising. WHen I am at the stop sign or light my car shakes with low rpms. When I hit the gas it sometimes think twice to go. When I am accelerating it starts to shake at 2k rpm n it continues. If I hit the gas all the way it shakes so hard as if it was gonna fall apart. If i cruise at 60 mph on highway it will vibrate n it slightly go away for a 1sec n come back hard again then goes away for a 1sec n comes back again. It continues through the ride. I also backfire.

I have changed the maf to a brand new one cuz I had hesitation problem. I have changed the 6 coil pack from a working 2000 maxima from my friend. Still the problem is still there. Now someone else told me maybe intake manifold leak or something not sure.

I dont know if there is another sensor it might be bad but these are codes I got today from advanceauto parts.
p0100
p1320
p0505
p0130
p1105
p0734

Any help will be great. ALso a friend of mine told me that egr maybe be clauged not sure if that can also be a problem.

Use the stickies to cross reference those codes. It'll point you in the right direction.

The shaking is a misfire.
Unplug the coils one at a time as see which one doesn't change the shake.
That's the cylinder you need to look at. You either have a bad coil, fuel injector or mechanical engine failure on that cylinder. By your description I suspect a coil is failing and you have a weak spark somewhere.

Depending on the type of vibration when accelerating, it could be your cv's starting to go. When mine were bad on a old car, I would get a major vibration/kind of hoping that I could feel in the steering wheel. So check your cv's...I'd bet one or both is starting to fail.

No brand new cv joints. I have lifetime warranty on cv joint. I thought the same so I replaced them and nothing. I have a feeling its a sensor killing my car. I can't go fast lol

Both of your current threads are symptoms of the same problem. I'm on my phone so I'm not going to research your codes.

You have a lot that I think will be contributing to your problems. I'd save the MAF for last since you say you just changed it. Clean your IACV per the how to's in the stickies. Replace your 02 sensor. For your P0734 read thru this thread which has a link to another thread which should give you some insight even though it's for a 4th gen. http://forums.maxima.org/4th-generat...ems-p0734.html

For your P1320, read this and this may help you http://www.nissanforums.com/a33-2000...-v6-p1320.html

As for you p1105, someone else will have to chime in on that one.

If I am way off here, please correct me.

Check your wheels and tires, have fix a flat in any of them?, remember fix a flat is a liquid and if it moves around inside the tire it can create a vibration. I know that all to well I bought a maxima that had fix a flat in the tire and it created a vibration over 40 and when doing 55 produced the same problem as you explained when your at 60

Well it shakes side to side really hard only when I hit the gas. So for example I drive on highway at 60 it will shakes if i have my foot on the gas even tapping it. But if i put it on "N" it won't vibrate

Lol. I know the fix a flat all too well. I bought mine and had a wicked shake over 55. Turned out ALL 4 tires had fjx a flat in them. Don't know why cause I took it out a year ago and it's still holding air.

make sure your tires are good, and nobody has mentioned that it could be a broken or damaged engine mount. Maybe torque converter too, just i'm not sure if the 4th and 5th gens had the same mounts you will have to look into getting some that work.

I just wanna say first is Thank you all for your support and taking your time to give me some ideas. I finally found out the reason why is backfires and hesitate so much. I had a broken wire inside the wiring harness by the firewall. The wire that was broken was a wire for the left back coilpack. Thats the reason why is was backfiring no signal to the coil. I will take a picture either tomorrow or friday and show which one it was.
