Question for you all dealing with traction issues:
I'm running OEM 2008 wheel 17x7 (235 45 17) wheels. I have every bolt-on I think possible (underdrive pulley, CAI, Header back exhaust, test pipe, 6 puck clutch, lightweight fly wheel, and VLSD trans, replaced all four motor mounts). My next upgrade will be most likely coilovers or lowering springs. As of right now, I basically have no traction through first, even on a easy engagement and then floor it. I understand suspension plays a roll but is there anything else you guys are doing to help? Since I replaced the motor mounts, I've noticed an improvement with wheelhop so that not as big of an issue any longer.
I think upgrading my tires will help as well. The tires I have are about 6 months old but I went a little cheaper route (but heard good reviews for traction) and bought an offbrand from Firestone. Thinking on going with the BF G-force.

Traction and tires go hand in hand. It's the last but most important item connecting you to the road. Choose them based on which performance class your looking for.

Tires will help your traction the most. You can go with a set of drag radials, but you will be lucky to get more than 5K miles out of most of them. I'm also a big fan of the Dunlop Z1 Star Spec tires. I have those on my 92 Max VQ35 and they hook the best out of any other tire (non-drag radial) I've tried. They should last you 15-20K miles depending how many rolling burnouts you do with them. 
I would also recommend to get the NWP Engineering Engine Torque Link. It will prevent your engine from moving even more than your new motor mounts and will further reduce your wheel hop and improve your traction.

- AaronTwo favorite tires in the performance sports sedan group are the Kumho Exsta 4X which I run and love and the Continental Extreme Contact DWS.
Both are excellent Z rated all season tires. The Kumho's transformed my cars ride comfort and handling, even on wet roadways. Impressive to say the least.
