Water in Oil, Head gasket?

Okay I am going to ask a stupid question. Is there any way for water to get in the oil on a vq30 without blowing the head gasket/s? I am getting another 4th gen, and the car is getting water in the oil. I checked the oil on the dipstick and it was all the way to the top of the stick The guy said the car never got hot, and when he noticed the coolant level was low he add more to the radiator....then when he checked the coolant again the next morning with out the car running in between the radiator was empty and there was no water on the ground. I let the car idle for about 2-3 minutes tonight and no water ran out on the ground, the coolant was not bubbling, no smoke from the tail pipe and the car was idling smooth. Any ideas guys, or am I over thinking this? I have never heard of a head gasket blown this bad that it will just drain the radiator into the oil pan over night

could be coming through the water pump seals (past coolant seal & over to and then past oil seal) but i would expect that you'd see some on ground underneath ac compressor area (unless maybe the weep hole is clogged).

How many miles on the engine?
Most likely water pump. The last 2 engines I pulled had coolant in the oil from bad bearings in the pump. One of those engines never leaked any coolant from the weep hole from what I was told. It didn't leak when I got the car but the weep holes were filled shut with metal shards.

yeah, I could see that, the o rings would really need to be trashed to be taking in water that fast.

Not that many miles 149k. Were you still able to use the engines that you had this problem with once you replaced the water pump? I am going to run a compression test on each cylinder once I get the car home, but I am just trying to get some ideas before the car gets here.

I would personally never try to use an engine where coolant has touched the rod bearings.

Hard to say exactly, that's the problem. The anti-freeze will eat the metal of the bearings and the seals sooooo ... iz anybodys guess really.
