I have a question. I searched but couldn't find the answer. The grey leather driver's seat in my 99 I30 is worn and cracking. I am looking for a used replacement. The 98 and 99 I30s have the perforated seat center sections (I believe the 99 Maxima SE limited's had the perforated seats) and I'm having a hard time locating a grey driver's seat from a 98 or 99 in good shape. I have found passenger seats in grey. So here comes my question. If I were to buy a passenger seat, could I remove the seat bottom cushion (not the rails and tracks) and swap it out with my driver's seat bottom cushion? I'm pretty sure the seat back would be different with the side airbags, but the seat cushion might be the same.

I am looking to sell the car so I try to find the cheapest option here.

If your only swapping the just the seat cushion itself, it should not be a problem. Just be careful not to mess up the good seat cushion when replacing.(use your cracked cushion as trail and error)
