ANYONE KNOW O-RING SIZE OF CAMSHAFT PS?

i'm going to be removing, inspecting and cleaning the camshaft position and both crankshaft position sensors now that it's getting warm out once again. i don't see the camshaft ps o-rings' size listed in the 96 fsm or haynes manual. does anyone here know what size o-ring it needs? thanks.

I honestly went to autozone, pulled the cps and took it in with me (isn't difficult to remove/install anyway). They cut the old one off for me and fitted a new one to it and I was good to go after paying the few bucks for the pack of o-rings (I now have several of them for the sensor laying around here somewhere), and of course I had some vaseline in the car to make sure the o-ring wouldn't get damaged during installation since it was a tight fit.

I bought a set from Pepboys for $7. The package has like 12 o-rings of different sizes, and you just take the old one and match it to one of the o-rings in the set. You don't need to know the size because they are not sold by size.

It's in an isle with all the crap in it. LOL

Also, a good idea is to clean the oil off the sensor. I am pretty sure you DON'T want oil to contact the new o-ring until after it is installed. I think it seals better if it's installed dry, not oiled, to clean metal.

At east I remember my new oring failed quickly, when I didn't clean the oil off the surfaces.

it was a number 15 o ring, not sure what size but yeah I just removed it in the parking lot and took it in to match. Cost me 69 cents to replace and no more oil leak out of that hole!

fyi: i measured the o-ring i just took off the cam sensor and its just over 18mm id X just over 22mm od X just over 2mm thick widthwise & just under 3mm thick heightwise. it was not leaking and a bit flattened in width. from this, i think that maybe 17mmX22mmX2.5mm (or maybe even 18mmX23MMX2.5mm) may be a better choice.
