Honestly, I'd like to know how much power these cars are using and how they are powering them. I once saw a show car that was heavy on electronics sporting 3 alternators, was pretty cool to me.

lithium batteries will do wonders for powering amps. New hig output alt are crazy powerful. Im almost to the point where I need an upgrade. My system is a bit overkill for the average joe though

show cars can suck a fat one. sorry but cars are meant to be driven why not buy a fricken couch and do the stupid tv speaker grey goose garbage to it would probably look nicer. the hoopty owners are the only sane ones here cuz they get there moneys worth i should know im one of them
Haha I def agree with you.. But these guys dont care they just want trophies.
But for the most part, these cars are usually done by teams or shops to showcase their installation skills/workmanship, and to advertise their names.
^i disagree. nothing good can be said about these cars, its just not possible
Well.....if you leave out the electroinic TV and stereo craziness, these cars do have nice paint jobs, and pretty 2 tone interiors.
It's a shame that these guys are probably going to be half deaf and blind when they reach their 30s from blasting their music at 120db with earth moving and trunk rattling bass and all those TVs at maximum brightness distracting them from the road.

paint job and interiors are hideous. expensive yes, but that doesn't make it nice. everything that was done to these is terrible.
man it's amazing how one could put so much time, effort and TONS OF MONEY into making a car look so terrible. I'm pretty sure my eyes are bleeding now.. lol
