Yea thats why I didn't jump on it when I found it. I don't think the stock headlights are bad. I did the 9007 upgrade on mine it it has plenty of light for back road driving, the thing is, my front bumper on the pass side had a fender bender and now the headlight is out of place and the light doesnt line up anymore

Re-aim them. It's simple enough.

With the bumper the way it is, it would be pointless. I need to fix the bumper first and the pull-a-part is letting me down.

That looks exactly the way I thought it would. Good fit and nice custom look without screaming for attention. Under stated mods are the way to go

His are retrofitted with projectors though. Yours won't look exactly like that but you get the idea.

They are certainly different. Better than the 1pc ebay headlights I suppose. I like the 4th gen headlights and the cornering lights. Small and simple but good looking all the same. I have amber bulbs in my corners at the moment and like how it looks. I think 4th gens look better than 5th gen headlights by a long shot. Its just hard to know how things will fit on your car and integrate with the look you are going for. Before the headlights are touched I think I will replace the bumper with another 96 SE with fogs. Ill stay away from the later 4th gen bumper conversion....

For 4th gen fogs? http://www.amazon.com/Light-Tint-Nis.../dp/B004MMUEQW Looks better than the spray on stuff and if it looks like crap you can take it off. I think the 4th gen fogs would look better as yellow fogs

why not just crack open the factory lights, mask off the parabolic reflectors, and spray the rest black? you'll get factory-quality lighting and, worst case, you mess them up and buy these lights anyway

i know at least one person on this site has done it and it looks pretty much exactly like what you've linked to

It's been a while since I used these with halogen bulbs. But the light output seemed better than stock 95/96 lenses, don't know about the 97+ lenses. Wish I were more helpful.

Ha Ha your right, looks like he gave you the old 95-96 headlights and sold off the good items. He also had my old CF hood on that car at one time.

These headlihgt use the 95-96 reflectors and I remember people complaining about their output saying that the 95-96 reflectors were designed to be used with the fluted lenses.
IDK though, I never used them with halogen bulbs.

Here is some videos I made.

NOTE: Beam is aiming low, I need to adjust them a little more up. They are 6k HID's. No animals were hurt during this video nor laws were broken

Here's me driving:
