Im sure the ORG would love to know what kind bulbs you used, seeing how I can't find a single thread about P&P hazard LED's but found a number of soldered in LED threads
Slow down there, Tiger. I never said I did it or that anyone else has. I just said that it could be done without soldering by using the stock rubbers pictured below.
my posts are aimed at this guy 19GLE97, notice how he never replied back
im hear u gotta give me some time
its kinda ghetto but i was able to do it w.o soldering so it works fine for me.
i bought http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...nstrument.html , the T1.5 series LED Twist Lock Lamp(at the bottom of the page) in blue, pulled them out of thier base, (they are made to work w 12 volt) and wrapped each connecter from the LED around the corresponding "prong" on the hazard or defroster switch. these led's have resisters and what not already hooked up to them...and viola they worked, its not that hard. didn't reuse the rubber connecter of course cause these bulbs are bugger than the stock.
its not exactly plug and play like the dash bulbs or climate control bulbs were but i assure u i soldered nothing
im not here on the org to bull**** everyone, just my way of doing it....well my way
I didn't get licence plate lights yet since I don't want the cops making it easier to see me :-) ...or maybe it was because I ordered these at 1am and was fading fast...
Can anyone link me a cheap rear license plate bracket for the bulbs? I know I fab one up with wood, but I want to see if there are any PnP I can buy. I tried local parts store, seems I Can't even buy the actual bulb covers from there...let alone the long plastic trim to hold them.

there is a guy in the 4th gen classifieds who makes the bracket for like $30.
to properly fit in on the .org I have decided to order some LED's for my 4th gen. Ordered fogs from SuperBright to start off in the amber color. Dont know how amber they will be though as its a hard color to match...

if they arent yellow enough for you, you could always do a yellow film on your fog housings
beside making the housings yellow (IMHO it looks great on white cars)
you get a little bit of damage protection (Rvinyl film is pretty thick)
and it puts out some YELLOW light
on that note, im not sure how bright the led bubls for fog bulbs will be
through your travels lookin for these leds, have you seen any confirmed sizes on the 95-96 cc? i kno you used t4's but wasnt sure if its the same for me or not.

How do you reverse the LEDs if they don't light up? Aren't they mounted to the base or can you remove them from the base? I'm a little confused about this.

depends. the ones that have the base, just rotate THE WHOLE THING 180 and reinstall. The ones that are just the bulb, pull out from the base, rotate bulb 180 and reinstall

they are twist lock or PnP like normal bulbs. To reverse them just turn the bulb around or untwist the bulb, turn so it would twist lock in the opposite position

or like he said BUT even on the ones that look like a normal bulb and have a base, you remove and rotate THE WHOLE THING 180* and reinstall
just did my Gauge Cluster lights...INCREDIBLE difference from the stock and Cool White LEDs....WOW.
Before, with stock bulbs:
After, with Cool White LEDs:
The stock cluster lights look a bit yellow in person even though it looks white in the pic. The new white LEDs aren't as blue in real life as they appear in the pic. Also, the hotspotting in the pic of the LEDs is not nearly as noticeable to the naked eye...I can barely see any difference, but I know where it "should be"...
