About time Are you going to use the 5th gen IACV or remove block off and use the 4th gen? I suggest the later for less of a hassle

No they are different and its a hit or miss with the 5th gen IACV, some had no problems and some couldn't get it to work for the life of them. So try it and if you have problems just remove it and block it off and use the 4th gen one and save yourself the headache. Check this out http://tatanko.boredmder.com/ go under "00VI SWAP"on the left then click on "Setup comparisons" in the center. I was going with setup #2 when I had my 4th gen, basically all 5th gen stuff except for the IACV.

There's also tons of useful info about the swap in there, I suggest you look through it and study it carefully so you don't run into problems later.

I've been waiting for my fuel gauge sending unit that mounts in the gas tank. The one in the car has a cracked mounting plate and allows gas to leak out, which really smells in the car. So I get home yesterday to find a crushed box by my door. Good ole UPS. So today my project is to find out how to get a replacement. In the past, this has been a 3 to 4 month process.

update 11/18/2011

So the parts place told me to open the box and I did. As best I coul tell, the sending unit looked ok. Electrically it tested OK as per the FSM so I went ahead and installed it. Time will tell.

my thread with pictures:
