If you think the HPS pads dust, you should see the dust coming form EBC RedStuff pads. The RedStuffs also squeaked like crazy with a low amount of pedal pressure on my girlfriend's '08 Accord. Nothing I did could get the squeak to go away. I told her if she pressed the pedal a little harder they wouldn't squeak, but she said she didn't want to do that because it might hurt her car , I tried to explain the compound of the pads would tolerate the extra heat created, but, alas, she is stubborn.
My hawk pads never squeaked until I took them apart and never re-lubed them. Now they squeak ever so slightly with low amount of pedal pressure. More pressure on the pedal makes the squeak go away. The EBC squeak was at least twice as loud as the hawk squeak to the point that it was annoying. I know the pads were on different cars, however the caliper design is very similar.
The fix for the squeaky EBC pads on her Accord were Wagner Thermo Quiets, which constantly get good reviews as well, but are not a performance pad.

as i stated earlier, ebc red stuff's will chew through rotors really fast and dust the hell outta your wheels. hawks are better up front imo, i have akibono's premium's and like them for a quiet ride and low dust.

For really good daily driver pads Wagner's Thermo Quiets seem to be doing the job. Low dust, to noise and I about had to pull my eye teeth out of the steering wheel the first time I had to get onto them. Wagner boxes them up for NAPA as well I just don't recall NAPA's name for the pads. If you can catch them on sale you can save $15 a set from Wagner.

I have Bendix CQ all around. I wasn't really looking for something high performance. They are actually pretty good. Not much dust at all, very quite, and not a big initial bite (I like when they grip gradually with pressure). I am not sure about the performance, but they were much better than what I had before.
