any advice on how-to adjust the bumper on the pic? and damage components that i need to prepare for? thanks.

Either the grill is pushed back or the cover is pulled forward.
Looking at the alignment of the headlights, I would be pretty sure to guess the grill is back.
Take it apart and look what's come apart, it's pretty straight forward.

have not done anything in the front end before. so i guess i need to remove in the order of grille, headlight, corner lights and then the bumper?

why dont you pull the grill off and look? there are bolts and clips holding the bumper on under the grill.

also pretty sure you dont have to take out the corner lights and headlights to get the bumper off.

by "pull the grill off," i mean unclip it from the headlights. itll probably be dry rotted so use needle-nose or a clip tool from behind to pop it out.

the bumper is held on by bolts and clips underneath the grill, bolts underneath the bumper connecting to the splash shield, and 3 bolts on each side where it meets the fender.

make sure you place a blanket down so your bumper doesnt scrape against the pavement.
