Rack and Pinion Boot

Hi,I have 1997 maxima and notice my rack and pinion boot on passenger side has a rip and is leaking. Can I just change the boot or do I have major problems? Please help if you can.

If it is leaking then the fluid seal is already damaged. You can replace the boot but that won't fix the seal. For me this is motivation to notice and fix damaged bellows/boots ASAP.
