JNCoRacer is right, those are 1156 type bulbs (BA15S). 1157 type bulbs are BAY15D. The seller spends a lot of words telling you how great of a guy he is but he never tells you the light output of those led lamps.

i was also wandering because of the light's output being led should i use a little bulb grease when putting these in?? i've never taken out the rear bulbs before, is there a simple way to get them out w/o breaking those little clips??? and, the ones on the trunk, i only see 1 wire, is that the brake light, thanks and pics would help.

Are you using these to replace your brake lights or turn signals? I don't remember which bulb goes to what.. I have similar red smd led bulbs in my rear turn signals (DIY Red/Clears); they are pretty bright at night, but they are a little difficult to see in the daytime.

1156s are used for turn signals and reverse lights as they only need one brightness level, and 1157s are used in the brake lights and corner lights at the front since they vary in brightness. If you put them in the turn signals make sure they have enough resistance so they don't burn out your relay. I have LEDs in the brake lights and reverse lights and im pleased aside from the fact that i should have used red LEDs so they didn't turn pink but, they're ok. Actually less bright than conventional bulbs but, unlike conventional bulbs they reach full brightness instantaneously while, conventional bulbs take a second to warm up.
