They look pretty good but I hate that gap and I heard those have terrible light output.

I can't wait to start/finish my quad R34 retro.

Exactly.

Over the years, the hype has died down dramatically.

Agreed, not sure why anyone would still consider these now that there are other options available.

That's why you make them unique (like myself) by doing a retro or whatever else you wanna do to em. It's pretty easy to make yourself stand out, even with R34's that "70% of the org has".

You think you're unique by putting Cefiro's on your car? That **** has been done buddy, it's nothing new.

Glad you like em though ..

Sorry did not mean to start a **** storm for you. I do think they look nice and if you have a way to fix the gap they will be a real stand out on the car.

Well, theyd did when they first came out, but now everyone wised up and chose to get headlights that have proper fitment. Also, most that did have the Cefiro 1-peices chose to retro them since their output is so sh#tty.
You act as if your so original, but actually your just late on getting something thats been out forever.

I have man, wirelessdude for example has them on his white 4th gen. Like I said though there are plenty of thing you can do to make your car stand out.

Believe me, I have something coming that I haven't seen on a 4th gen with retro'd R34's before. I'm also gonna make my own grille which is different like my retro'd fogs. I'm all about being different and doing my own thing with my own style and taste.

Don't get all butthurt because someone doesn't like what you do to your car, like you said people have their own taste. Nothing to get mad over. I'm sure not everyone is gonna love what I have in store but I really don't care lol You shouldn't either.

What did you expect to happen when you put up this thread?

You were not asking any questions regarding them you just wanted some kind of validation or peoples opinion !! Well you got it!!

Consider my first response was a link to ebay where i compared your lights and said "they look sweet"!!

That was my personal opinion!! & Guess what everyone is entitled to their own opinion!

Some people were like there is a gap!! It does not fit right!!! People were not making it up!! What was so negative that you had to have a lil breakdown .. lol

Yes youre bumper is unpainted!! They were not making that up either! In fact someone scribbled on your hood with a yellow marker too...

Also the fact that you think your the first with these headlight is hilarious!

Anyway i think you need to grow some thick skin.. people are entitled to there opinions and if you dont like it then so what! No need to start having a fit..

You know what they say if everyone is thinking alike then someone isnt THINKING!

Also the people you "think" you are clowning are a huge resource for the community in terms of knowledge and experience and they probably have more mods on their lawn mower then you do on youre max so show some respect or at least be civil!

Now remember Im the guy who told you the lights look sweet! well maybe not youre lights but the ones i posted a link to on ebay. LOL

OP: If it makes you feel any better, I think your headlights look better than R34s, but I also think that anything besides the factory setup looks goofy.

I would think anyone with Speed Kartel written on his hood would be used to people looking at you like you're a douchebag?

I always liked cerfiros but never really liked the gap.. they look good on your car since you have the whole black and orange look going. I personally didnt go nor the R34 nor the cefiro. Im running glass AE style headlights with blacked out original corners for the winter.. i have AE styled corners ready for the summer. it looks like cefiros but with the right fitment. Best of luck with your modding!

Very well put.

Its hard to be original on a car that has such limited options, it seems these days the only way to be original is to build.

That being said, i think the headlights dont look bad, some people are more particular about the gaps then others, its personal preference really.
i know my brother wants a pair just like that for his max.

GL with the rest of your mods

That looks good!

But it looks so similar yet so different from the OEM separated headlight and corner light. LOL

It feels like I am looking at the OEM setup but at the same time it isn't.

Those headlights are almost as original as swapping 350z boat anchors onto a 4th gen.

Between the Speed Kartel decal and the huge gapped lights, wow. It does flow well with your unpainted bumper though.

I don't understand what it is lately with people posting up (usually stupid) mods to their cars thinking they're all cool with a thread that says LOOK AT ME and contributes to the forum in no way at all and then getting buttsore when people criticize them.

This is a public forum, not ******* kindergarten. If you're gonna whine and b1tch when people don't like what you do, maybe you should go color some pictures in a special education class at your local elementary school. That's the only place you're going to get the kind of YAY YOU'RE AWESOME feedback you're looking for.

It's not even just this, it's the 5th gen section too. Take a look at the thread about the OBX special pretzel muffler and you'll see what I mean.

OP, I'll throw my opinion out there for you. Paint your bumper, get rid of the dumb hood vinyl, and ditch the headlights for something that fits better or make them fit better. Your car will actually look pretty nice if you do those three things.

So lets see, what the headlight trend here?

Was it AE->Cefiro's->R34s->Retro's?

I've said it before in previous threads, j-dawg has said it among someone else IIRC, stock headlights are my fave, just because for their fit ment and their flow with the body.

And now after REALLY looking at them, I have a hard time believing that these are really worth the trouble of making them fit or doing an I30 front end conversion when compared to just AE'ng or Cefiro clone.
