Idle Issue???

So i think i have a problem. After i cleaned my Tb and Iacv i felt like my idle might have went up. It wasnt loud like it is now when i turn on the car. And everytime i turn it on if its not warm it idle's at 1500 and slowly drops down. My mileage on the gas is horrible i have to put 15 dollars every other day and i only use the car for street purposes only. Im leaning on a knock sensor Problem i need some info about this Thanks

Heres the link to the video

1500rpms is where it's supposed to idle at when it's cold. Mine does the same.

How's the idle at a stop light when the car is warm?

if you feel that the idle isnt where its suppose to be adjust it by turning the black plastic screw on top of the iacv.

on a cold start thats what its supposed to idle, it should should start around 1500, then a couple seconds later creep down to around 1200ish and then a few seconds later to normal idle

if youre idling at 1500 stopped when the car is warm thats a problem, if thats the case you can adjust the idle

Tighten to drop it. You can adjust it while its idling.

I can check for a knock sensor code for you at the meet. They dont trip an SES light.

Wrong. Your TB/IACV probably needs a cleaning to bring it back to normal.

It's normal! But if you really want to adjust the IACV, turn the car on and turn that screw to the right, it'll lower the idle.

Perfect today i woke up and i cleaned the T/B and IACV again and Idle is perfect. The car runs fine but ill wait till the meet so dough can check the knock sensor. I don't think any more adjustments need to be made as in messing with the **** in the IACV. Thanks a lot fellow orgers. Pleased to be in a community that is very helpful.
