I talked to the guy at cattman and he said the header replace the y pipe too. That doesn't seem to jive with what you guys are saying here.

You're a little confused.

If you buy Cattman's headers, it comes with it's own equal length unique y-pipe that only works in conjunction with his headers.

Or

You keep the OEM headers, and purchase Cattman's y-pipe (different y-pipe than the one I mentioned above, and unequal length) or any other ypipe...Warpspeed for example.

Make sense?

I just installed a set of XS shorty headers and a Warpspeed Y Pipe. They both don't fit together. I had to modify my Y Pipe to fit the XS headers.

OOPS! I didn't know XS made a y pipe. I bought just the headers off of a org member.

It does now. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I figured I was just all not-knowing

too nervous to seriously mess with the exhaust.

Up here in mass, you can fail inspection if its too loud. Sux azz

I should've taken pictures of the process. I welded in a flex-section between the front and rear headers. The flex-section just so happens sits under the upper-oil-pan.
