IMHO 235/40 would look way sicker. How wide are they?

these are the tire i got on the rims, they are stock on the 08 FX35, and once i get into the drop a little more i was thinking about 225/40/18 for a little stretch, the rims are 8.5" wide

Oh siht theyre 8.5? 235 would be a slight stretch. 225 is borderline moderate. Whts the offset on em?

Never saw anyone mask off wheels using playing cards before. Much more pimp than newspaper.

That JVC sounds nice and wasn't too expensive...the ability to play music from a flash drive is awesome, too. I swapped my speakers with Boston Acoustics all around, but I could use an amp...not quite enough power to push them to their full potential. Definitely jealous of your subs and tweeters...but at the same time, I think I'd regret using up my trunk space.

I'm very jealous of your exterior work...If I had my exterior repainted, it would look like a new vehicle, as my interior is almost flawless.

I did just order the OEM floormats for mine, since nothing I can find in a store is the correct shape and they bunch up/don't cover the carpet.

I ordered mine from courtesyparts.com. I think they were in the $70 range. Still pretty pricy, but a lot better than $150.
