Limited slip or not?

If you have a manual transmission I30t, the transmission should be VLSD.
For automatics, there is an identification plate under the hood near the cowl where the transmission code should be listed.
RE4F04A - Regular Automatic
RE4F04V - VLSD Automatic (locking)

The VLSD was standard on the I30t, so every I30t has it, including yours. This applies to both automatic and manual transmissions.
It was "optional" on the regular I30 (non-t), but only on the automatic, but most of them do have it. A manual non-T I30 will not have it, but these hardly even exist.
I have a 96 I30 non-T automatic with the VLSD
The VLSD automatic is RE4F04V
