mevi= Middle Eastern Variable Intake. It increases power up top, but sacrifices low end power. Stock on Maximas sold in the Middle East, can now buy from courtesynissan.com. Direct bolt-on, no modding required, much easier then 00VI to install.

00VI= 2000 Variable Intake. It increases power up top, without sacrificing low end power. Stock on 2000-2001 Maximas. Not a direct bolt-on, requires some modding, but better than mevi b/c of no low end loss.

Dont make this another useless thread where all everyone sais is search, and by calling people noobs and such you make them less likely to ever return to this forum. Half the time when you search all you get are threads that were unanswered and people only say to search in those threads and they are junk. Glad to see that you replied to search after the answer had been found, useless, if you dont have anything nice/constructive to say, dont say anything.

You know cartman is right! If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything.

Don't make this another useless thread? are you serious? the topic on MEVI has been covered an exorbitant amount of time and from what i have observed, its noobs like the OP that asks such a banal, beaten to death, general question that gives the 4rth gen section such a bad rep. I got about 10 pages of relevant info pertaining to the mevi thus making this thread, yeh, useless. It just dumbfounds me as to how people can't use the search function, especially for something so general.

This.

You know cartman would be right if this wasn't such an EASY subject to research.

Thread topics that have been beaten to death by nooblets:
Intake
Exhaust
Cat vs. No Cat
MEVI/00VI
What mods should I do?!

Whenever I see these threads a nice lovely "SEARCH" should be the proper and only response. There are other topics too, but sometimes they're special circumstances, which is why I only listed those above.
