Difficulty of Radiator support Swap

Maximeltman - Did you get an OEM support, or was it aftermarket? And this is just the lower section? This is the part on courtesy I believe. http://www.courtesyparts.com/62530m-...ml?cPath=1783&

To do the job right, you need a spot weld bit (which looks like a mini hole saw) and a low speed drill so you don't drill all the way through both pieces of metal. Spot welds can be insanely strong if done right, so it will likely take a while to drill them all out and then separate the two layers of sheet metal with a cold chisel. I have more experience than I would care to removing spot welds. As for welding the new pieces on, you need a wire feed MIG welder, preferably with gas. As mentioned in other posts, most muffler shops have wire feed MIG welders and will do the welding for you at a reasonable rate.
Talk about a big job, I'm currently doing my lower radiator support, replacing every bushing in the front end with Energy Suspension urethane, replacing the clutch and rear main seal, and rebuilding the 5 speed transmision. Good thing I have two weeks off work, I'll need every hour of it.

million posts on lower radiator support - some advice desired
Does someone have a play by play on how to strip off the bumper cover/ headlights (if needed if only doing lower support). bumper..etc to get ready to do the lower radiator support ?
I am hoping a friend is going to help me that has welding experience .. I provide the car.. he the know how ...
I will get the OEM version from courtesy as everyone suggests and some new lower bolts for sure.
Anything else I am likely to need when ripping things apart to get to it ?
The photos in this post are very helpful to see.
How much weight is on the lower engine cross member where it bolts to the radiator support ? .. Mine has not failed but I am driving like an old lady now for fear that it will come off

My lower support looks just like yours and my car doesnt see anything past 60 mph because of it. My friend who works in the service dept at Nissan is hooking me up with the part so now its a matter of finding a shop to do it. I hate the NE winters smh

Since there isn't one, I think I'll do a writeup with photos when I do mine.
