I purchased my Maxima with J30 front brakes already on the car. Well the time has come to replace pads and rotors for them and because I didn't do the mod myself I never did the research and am unfamiliar with the setup. So, I guess I need to know which parts it is I should be buying. Can I just shop for rotors/pads for a J30 or is there more to it than that? Also, I could have sworn there was something about this setup that required modifying the rotors, can anyone refresh my memory with that?

yes, buy the j30 pads and rotors. you have to bring the rotors to a machine shop and get the od trimmed down 4mm.

Excuse me if I sound like an idiot but by "od" do you mean outer diameter?
