fitting a 5th gen exhaust on a 4th gen

hmmm...kind of curious.. I was wondering if a 5th gen's full catback would fit on my 4th gen.. I mean there are 5th gens with the VQ30 so i was thinking, maybe the exhaust setup wasn't that different either..please help me out on this one..

thanks!!

I don't think it'll work. IIRC the 5th gen cat back is longer.

One of my friends just purchased a 5.5 gen after his 4th gen was totaled. He wants me to swap his GReddy exhaust onto the new max, so I think we're gonna find out. I don't expect a perfect fit, but that's where the chop saw and tig welder come in.

With minor modification it'll probably fit.

PLEASE TELL ME HOW IT GOES!! IM REALLY LOOKING INTO THIS!!! I FOUND A APEXI WS2 for 150 for a 5th gen and i want to try and fit it on my 4th gen but im kind of skeptical about how the process would take place. Im limited to cutting and welding because i have no equipment as of right now...PLEASE TELL ME HOW IT GOES!!! THANKS!!

Ok at least he admitted he bumped an old thread lol.

As for the HID's google DDM Tuning and grab an HID kit from them. They use Apexi kits if I remember right. Its what I run and theyve never failed me.
