thanks man. no, i'm not... as tigersharkdude said below, flava was. if not, he was one of the first. except he went a step further and threw some LED boards in there. looks fantastic. you should also search for the DTM (dallas taillight mod). that's another quasi-stock looking taillight idea.

oh. there will be more pics. gotta get creative on some scenery around here, everything is so urbanized lol. gonna try to get in the 2011 calendar!!!

assuming you have a manual trans, start with a warpspeed y-pipe. then mevi or 00vi. then CAI, catback, UDP, or any other expensive-yet-low-yield mod. gotta look at the HP/$$$ factor.

but if you're automatic... GTFO.

lol

^^ good call.

if you want to start modding, do it right. get more power first. i laugh when i'm on the highway and my ultra-low "appearance modding" budget is beating a $3000 body kit, $2000 wheels, fake intercooler, 10" screw-on muffler tip, etc.

then again, some people don't care about "go"... just "show".

poser is the technical term

poser's we are not (I assure you) and people often love to point and laugh at our track beastie because we are more about GO than 'show'.

We do laugh at poser's all the time though with their BTO and silly body claddings.

$2k on wheels will never happen.. more like $200-$350 plus tires -- and no bigger than 17s.

Our 97 is 100% rust free so replacing that part of the exhaust just isn't a priority right now but that is on the list down the line (not interested in too many mods to be honest as it is more of a daily driver so a body kit will also never happen!)

i bought some lights from a guy on here modded for 9007. for me, the output was crap. i blame it on the filament being straight up instead of sideways.
