Weird noise from underbody, Grinding/Whistleing/Hissing

Keep getting this sound from my car. The hissing/whistleing sound seems to be constant. But there is also a metal on metal grinding sound that only seems to happen at slower speeds, and is alot more noticeable in stop and go traffic. Sounds like something is dragging on the ground.

I checked the underbody and everything looks fine. I know that I need to change the brakes, can this be the rotors making that noise? I ordered new pads and oem rotors, they should be here in a week. Till then, what can that sound be from?

dude, did you search?? of course brakes can squeal in stop and go traffic, pads wear thin. fluid in master cylinder on the line??? seriously, umless the calipers are sticking, which is another possibility its your pads.

Ahhhh ****. I think this might be it, because this car has always given me issues with 1st and 2nd gear.

Actually yes I spent hours searching. Its hard to detect when your car makes 3 unknown random sounds (at least to me, since I've never heard these sounds). Yes the brakes makes squealing sounds, but thats an obvious sound that I didn't mention because I already know the solution to THAT problem.

It could be stupid, but I already had that kind of sound. My metal rear disc protector broke by the rust and he was stuck in the rear wheel. It grinds my wheel.

FOund out the problem. I changed all my brakes and rotors and 2 calipers. The rear caliper piston was out a good inch, which was making it press against the pads really tightly and then the pads were grinding on the rotor. So had to change 2 calipers, 2 rotors and changed all the pads. No more noise!
