its his choice, personally i think the alteezes that have the skyline mod are very good looking on some cars.

All altezza's are bad, some worse than others, but I do agree w/ handson, i've seen a few maximas that have done the skyline mod and LED'd it looked pretty good for altezzas. Even so... they were still altezzas (ewwww)

The only altezzas i would ever rock are the ones the OP is talking about (red LED rings) with the skyline mod (blacked out except for the rings), only on a BLACK 97-99 of course. IMO they aren't ricey at all with the skyline mod, they are simple and blend right in with a black Max. The 02-06 Altima's stock tail lights are more ricey than the LED rings blacked out, kinda, well I have an I30 so I shouldn't be talking, I have no tail light options =[

I dont see why everyone knocks the altezzas so much. I have them, they fit perfect and have worked perfect for over a year now. They look great at night and are plenty bright during the daytime and really bright at night.

I mean.. if you are putting diamond cut clears on your front turn/side then you have no reason to be mocking anyone with altezza tails lol. Besides.. not everyone wants to spend the insane prices for the custom made light boards just to make the switch to LED tails.

No one said anything about them not fitting right or working properly.
The point is, they may look good at night, but they look as hell during the day. I'm on the fence as far as the Skyline mod goes.

There's a big difference, at least IMO, between diamond clear corners and altezzas. Diamond clear corners looks classy and OEMish, as if they should have come from the factory like that. Altezzas on the other hand, look completely out of place and like ****, IMO of course.

My LED tails are still one of my favorite mods to date. Money well spent in my book. Gotta pay to play.

Anytime the subject gets brought up.. people dog all over them like "if you dont spend $500 on LED boards for your tails and you take the cheap route then your a gay ricer". Just seems like a rather snobby remark coming from people with carbon splitters or painted OEM calipers > rice.

I dont really see how they look out of place other than from the side.. still dont know why they made the lens on them bug eyed. They dont look bad during the day.. no worse than the stock clear tails that nissan started using on its newer models. Just saying.. its a very cheap way to have very bright LED tails.
