advice on inexpensive exhaust replacement

Hello everyone,
i have a 97 fed spec gxe with a b-pipe that has holes and a sagging / rusted y-pipe.

i'm in the process of researching the least inexpensive replacement.

has anybody have experience with this b-pipe?
http://www.autozone.com/autozone/cat...uestid=1890411
(click the exhaust pipe)

everything on the web points me to the bosal part (the muffler link)

other places have the bosal for about $150

any experiences / advice would be appreciated.
Thanks guys

The bosal will work but it's thin and will start rusting before long.

I managed to redo my exhaust with low mileage used parts bought off the .org. Unfortunately junkyards cut up exhaust parts so unless you can find someone with exhaust parts in their garage, it can be hard to find them.

Don't go too inexpensive, you might rust out.

All I can say is, Warpspeed y-pipe, Stillen b-pipe, and you will never have to worry about rust again.

hmm,
so it seems that even the bosal is thin....
I am definitely going for the warp speed cat / y pipe combo but i wanted to see what the best choice is for the b-pipe.
thanks for the advice guys!!!

Stillen b-pipe. Its perfect. No restrictions in the pipe and no restricting resonator. And its built of very sturdy stainless steel and its a perfect fit. I've had it for 2 years, no rust whatsoever. And so what if its $90 more than Bosal, by the time your Stillen b-pipe rusts out, you will probably be a retired senior.

I just got the Bosal B from autopartswarehouse for $120 shipped. The resonator is smaller than the stocker and not like the can pictured. For the price, it seems to be a nice piece.

Hey im new here but just wanted to ask this real quick, If you replace the stock B-Pipe with a Stillen B-Pipe, what is the difference in noise? Does it make the car any louder?

I think im going to get rid of my car. Rust is causing expensive problems w/ exhaust

Header Back Exhaust cost

exhaust kit -> stock muffler ?

Exhaust Information Thread: (With Sound Clips)

Sure was tough searching FOR YOU, all those links and so little information, sure am glad you started up this thread so i could learn about stillen b-pipes and cheap exhaust fixes!

its pretty simple. have a mech fix one up for you for 45 dollars, end of story. they can manderal bend all the pipes and make a better b-pipe per cost ratio than anything from a namebrand.

lock it up or better yet, delete this thread.
