New fenders already painted?

Has anyone bought from theonlinebodyshop store on ebay? They sell new fenders painted/clearcoated to match the factory paint code... I have severe rust in the lower parts of both front fenders (front of the wheels) on my 99 SE, and a body shop wants $1000 to replace both with aftermarket ones and paint them... This place seems to sell them pre-painted for about $200 each including shipping.... I know the paint match might not be perfect due to fading, but my paint is in very good condition for a 10 yr old car....

If your not worried about a perfect paint match, i would try it. If you want a quality match with a blend and stuff, try searching CL for painters who need work? Maybe pull oem fenders out of a junkyard for the best fit? I meant they will be painted anyway, atleast you know its oem stuff

I bought a prepainted tailgate for my truck on eBay. The color was a perfect match, but the paint was horrible. There were unpainted edges with primer exposed, runs in the paint, chips, bumps, etc. I ended up getting a refund for the cost of painting it (tailgate was $170 plus $100 for paint) then paid a local body shop to sand and repaint it. I later bought an unpainted fender for the Max that I will take to the same local shop for paint.

that's where my gf got her fender. It matched up pretty well. Better than parts she had painted and matched while at a shop.

DnH Auto Parts is the one that sold me the f'd up tailgate, but maybe I just drew the short straw. On the upside, they were very good about communicating with me to resolve the issue. I told them about the paint defects on 12/27/08 and got my refund on 1/15/09. Given the holidays and the fact that I was out of town for a week in the middle, I consider that a pretty good turn around time.

That aside, you may be able to do better on the price. I got the new primed passenger side fender for my Max for $69 shipped (from pershingautobodyparts03) and am going to get it and my spoiler painted locally for $200. Right now they have the same fender on sale for 15% off.
Right Fender $37.40 + $25.00 Shipping
Left Fender $37.40 + 25.00 Shipping
Surely you could find a shop near you that would paint them for less than the $295.20 you'd save buying these. Unfortunately I cannot yet attest to the fit of these fenders since I won't be getting mine painted until next week.
